Parts of the Science I building are shuttering for renovation, to modernize the building.
The move has affected several classes, labs and student support programs.
The biology department, the Center for Access to Science for All, and the Academic Resource Center, popularly known as CASA and ARC respectively, have relocated their operations to the McLane Annex near
The programs have modified their operations, with some employees working remotely. The staff at McLane Annex will share the space separated by cubicles. To preserve student privacy, ARC will offer advising services remotely.
CASA, the umbrella program housing at least five others, has welcomed students to visit their new offices.
“Our new offices will be open, and all of our services will continue to be available to students, including studying spaces, and our hospitality section,” a CASA notice sent by email read.
We’ll continue to provide updates on the renovation as details become available.
