Building Bridges to the Professoriate (BB2P) Program 2024-2025
Fresno State and UC Riverside announce the opening of applications for the 2024-2025 Building Bridges to the Professoriate (BB2P) program. This initiative aims to support and guide students interested in academic careers, particularly those from under-represented backgrounds in science.
Program Highlights:
- Collaboration: Joint effort between Fresno State and UC Riverside.
- Support: Financial and professional assistance for students aspiring to become professors.
- Start Date: Begins in Summer 2024 at UC Riverside with research and professional development activities, continuing through the 2024-2025 academic year.
BB2P Program Tracks:
- Track 1: For undergraduates who have completed sophomore or junior year and have no prior experience in faculty-mentored research at Fresno State.
- Track 2: For undergraduate or Masters students currently involved in faculty-mentored research at Fresno State.
Benefits:
- Covers all travel and housing expenses.
- Provides stipends for participants.
